The term 'allergy' is derived from two Greek words which mean "altered reactivity". That is, an allergy is an adverse reaction to a normally harmless substance which may be a food or other environmental agent such as dusts, pollens or chemicals.

During Saturday evening, we experienced a Total Lunar Eclipse - the first time for three years.

It's one of those awe-inspiring natural phenonomens that doesn't occur that often. I believe the last one was three years ago, but if I recall it was quite cloudy at the time across the UK.

This time it was different, with clear (but cold) skies, the amazing effect of the earth's shadow being presented over the Moon made it one of those magical moments which we all managed to witness! Truly Amazing!

KEY TIMES FOR ECLIPSE
- Moon enters penumbra: 20:18
- Moon enters umbra: 21:30
- Totality begins: 22:44
- Mid-eclipse: 23:21
- Totality ends: 23:58
- Moon leave umbra: 01:11
- Moon leaves penumbra: 02:24
(All times are in GMT)

The good news is that I took photos of the various steps - they didn't turn out extremely well, but the key "phases" of Totality of the Lunar eclipse were pictured!!!!!
