One of the GNS business team's held a Team Build, and invited a number of support groups to also join them and ergh..."bet"...(celebrate) the joys of relationship and partnership. So here goes...after a few drinks (well we did meet up at the pub at Ascot), we had a nice few hours at the Ascot Racecourse! Coincidently, there was a few horse races too during the afternoon!

Well working for Amex, is not all work-work-work...it involves a bit of fun and enjoyment too. It's the simplest of games that seems to entertain the majority, so although the GNS work-life outside fun day (afternoon) was called off due to the unpredictable weather (it's not like it's mid-July or anything! Classic English summer weather), the Telecom House fun-evening remained, and it was sunny, rained and sunny again - but we persevered - with a BBQ, soft-ball and some healthy living exercises! Great hey? :)

A spontaneous extended invitation, and a marvellous evening drive and session at a mysteriously located Brewery. Dark Star had some very nice Ales and Bitters - yummy indeedy --> http://www.darkstarbrewing.co.uk - give it a go, you will be pleasantly surprised :)

A work session in Cairo meant one thing...well that includes fun and games in-between the work aspects...well it's Aaron and fun is my middle name :) Well kinda!

One of my great friends from Uni tied the knot on the Summer Solstice 2010, and it was a magical event, with a great venue, a great crowd, fantastic atmosphere, marvellous summer weather (thank you England!), and an amazing Hog-Roast (yummy piggy!) - which Al did mention was called "Babe" - gosh, I hope this was a joke! Haha! Delicious all the same :)

I visited an ex-Amex IT Graduate mate of mine who is now based in Basingstoke. Thinking back, it is incredible to think that was back in 2003-2005! Crickies - where has the time gone? :) Anyway, thoroughly relaxing couple of days, and a nice session was guaranteed! Oh and the Guinness flowed - ha!

Well what a destination for a stag do. Relaxation, great company, great fun, plenty of fab food and drinks... and innocent enjoyment throughout. We managed to see a lot of Amsterdam in all its glory - and the best way to achieve this? Well of course the classic bicycle (it had to be done!) - the best way to see around 'Dam! :)

We started with a ferry ride to France (to stock up with booze at ... where else ... Tesco Calais). Onwards through NE France, Belgium, and the Netherlands and arrived in Amsterdam in the early-Evening. We headed straight for a nice Mixed Grill, followed by ... ergh... "coffee"... followed by Red-Light District fun and games and more drinking!

The Saturday we spent touring the City on the bike, a Canal boat ride, a bit of snooker, pool and more drinking! We continued the weekend with a great fillet steak at Café Loetje (highly recommended BTW!) - a relaxing ride to one of the parks in the City and more cycling and walking till the very end :) Followed by a rainbow in Dover! Shame we didn't find the gold at the end of the rainbow though, but we had a home to head off too!

Well another Bank Holiday...what can one do, I wonder? Well one can play Jenga (actually was great fun!) and join in with some "attempted" singing on the PS3...oh yes indeedy! What fun! Did I mention Guinness drinking at all?

Well a few of us got together and had a nice relaxing session ... good, beers and ergh general chit-chat was the order of the day! Just wish I didn't have my man-cold :) Hopefully another session down Brighton-town very soon with the wider groupie!

A double-leaving doo for work...Emily is moving to a new job (promotion) in GSS and Peter (consultant) is moving on. Great fun, and a fab way to toast our colleagues - ergh...with 2x Guinness...chin, chin!

Another session down Lewes - filled with Guinness (no surprises), pool and great pool fun - oh a session of Bar Billiards at another pub too :)

Another series, another 4 tickets bagged - wicked. This week's show had the legendy Bruce Forsyth as the Guest Presenter, Laura Solon (with Ian) and Ross Noble (with Paul) alongside the regular Ian Hislop and Paul Merton panelists! Wicked show, great company, fantastic entertainment indeed!

Fun, Guinness, Walking (aka exercise and fresh Mid-Sussex air), sunshine and enjoyment are the puurfect combination for a relaxing Sunday afternoon! Brilliant indeedy!!

We ventured into Western Road in Brighton at a new bar/restaurant - was very nice...Rock 'N' Rolla. Luvly company, luvly food, luvly drinks (alla Guinness), luvly pool...and fantastic celebrations! What a way to spend a luvly Sunday afternoon! Many happy returns matey!

A business meeting can only end one way...yep drinkies and social fun...we visited the London Eye, and for once the weather was pretty good...slightly overcast, but the views were pretty amazing! We finished the evening with a fabulous meal at Skylon Restaurant on the South Bank...great company, great food...ohhh...and great wine (chosen by moi!) :)

After the adult-themed circus fun, we ended up at a session at the Honey Club at around 1am...for a hard house night (or early morning). Just in time to get the first train back at 3.50am (left at 4.15am! - good to see that the first train was late already!)

An interesting (and different) visit to a Circus at the Brighton Fringe festival...kinda like an Adult-Themed Circus without any animals!! Brilliant and painful to watch at times! Ha!

What has a Brighton pub, some Nacho's, a few pints of lager (& Guinness) and a celebration got in common - well all to celebrate Mr Alex Kent's esq birthday in style! Happy birthday mister! Fun session!! May the 4th be with you, as always!

Dad's birthday is on St George's Day - how appropriate hey? - and what better way to celebrate 70 very interesting years on Planet Earth - by having a bash with some great family friends! A birthday dinner was held at Birch Hotel in Haywards Heath - and it was a wonderful time! Nice one and many happy returns Dad!
