The Arabs were the first, not only to cultivate coffee but also to begin its trade. By the fifteenth century, coffee was being grown in the Yemeni district of Arabia and by the sixteenth century it was known in Persia, Egypt, Syria and Turkey.

Redbus - more like "Red-face"!!!  Another day, another outage, affecting this very website.  Web-mania, my host of my website utilise the services of Redbus Interhouse and Redbus suffered what now appears to be a catascrophic power outage affecting their main data centre in the Docklands area of London.  The full story at -->

All Redbus have so far indicated is that "at around 10:30am our [Redbus] core internet connectivity providers stopped routing traffic to our network. After some investigation we [Redbus] discovered that a floor of the data centre in which the seperate providers operate various routing equipment had suffered a serious electrical equipment malfunction which had caused damage to the various PDU (power distribution units) and UPS (uninterruptable power supply) systems used by our internet connectivity providers to power their routing equipment."  Ummm... in short quite a big problem, hey?

Well what did this mean for this very website?

Well a total outage from just gone 10.30am to 8pm on the same day - a total 10 hours of no website, no e-mail access - and this also means total e-mail loss for this period of time!  Oh and to top it off, the web-hosts own very website was done - so no support either!

This is the third time in as many months - no wonder why this website is up and down over the reason months!  Not a happy bunny as you can imagine - it's just lucky this wasn't a business website - unlike thousand other customers!!!

Oh, this also affected my other websites located at - which ALSO utilise Redbus Interhouse for some of their data storage (they state approx. 70% of their customers were affected!) - this included and - so rather annoying to say the least.

Ho-well, I am alive and well -that's the main thing hey?  Now back to trying to find out what happened to all of those e-mails yesterday ... well at least the spam got stopped for a day!  Ain't bad hey? hehe!
