Las Vegas Trip - 2nd-8th June 2008

We had an AXP Global Team Division conference with over 750 people meeting up in fantastic Las Vegas, for the 4 day conference.

I decided to take the opportunity of extending my stay and managed to partake in some exciting adventures around Las Vegas for 3 additional days. I also managed to book a Helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon - it was worth every penny indeed! Slowly progressing my quest in seeing the original 7 Natural Wonders of the World!! Ha!

Grand Canyon Helicopter Ride

We pre-booked a Helicopter ride from Boulder City, to visit Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the infamous Grand Canyon West Rim - where we landed, had lunch, and returned back to Boulder City. A memorable 2-3 hr flight!!

Las Vegas Strip at Night

"The Strip" comes to life during the evenings and night-time, with the Neon glows of the lights up and down the Strip.

The again, if you spend most of the time inside a Casino, you probably wouldn't even noticed the night-time...we had a surreal moment that we visited the Venetian Hotel (Little Venice) at midnight, and it would appear to be a scene during a sunny afternoon! Weird indeed, can only happen in Las Vegas!

The Las Vegas (which is also referenced as "Sin City") has the most famous Boulevard in the world...the infamous 'Las Vegas Boulevard' (aka "The Strip").

The AXP GNS Team had a Global Employee Conference located in the extravagant City of Las Vegas, Nevada. We were located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino for the conference.

We ate, sleep, networked, and gambled for the 4 days we were there.
