We visited the Damnoen Saduak (aka Floating Market) about 1hr or so out side of Bangkok. A pleasant trip, though costed us 3000Bhts (60 squid) for an hour and half boat ride...We really just wanted to walk and sense the experience from above (as you know from all of the photos of the floating market), but we ended up experiencing it from a "tourist boat"...grrr...!! Anyway, an experience all the same!
