During my tenure in the market, post week-5 of my work assignment, I was able to finally settle into a fully furnished apartment. Furnished sparsely though! :) But it was recently renovated and it was a good sized flat to stay in, and it was walking distance to a fair number of the key sites in and around Riga.

A visit to the Skyline Bar followed by a nice Restaurant establishment resulted in a relaxing evening...well almost, as the next album was the 'next' event on the Friday night!

A 'movie-theme' night at the K.I.D. restaurant establishment-turn night-club! An interesting night indeed, and just opposite my apartment...bonus!

Hendrik invited me to a visit to the Sigulda town, in the Gauja National Park - which was about 50km north-east of Riga. A great and amazing landscape with the autumnal scenery!

Robert suggested that we take a short train journey to the Jurmala beach, and it wasn't a bad choice at all! The Sunday was amazingly sunny, albeit cold in the air, but it was a good walk along a fantastic coastline!

My colleagues in the Parex Banka Latvia office made my last day memorable. Not only was it my last day in the office in Riga, Latvia - but it was my birthday celebration that weekend.

We visited the Bites Blues Bar for a relaxing night of entertainment - and it certainly was fun, enjoyable and more importantly chilled!
