A summer BBQ in the mid-sussex town of Haywards Heath - surely it would nice and sunny...wrong cloud and drizzly - grrr!! Hey-ho...that's the British summer time for ya!!

Another week, another BBQ...another fun outing and friends and frolics galore - and the sun shone - wahoo!

Sam and Joy arrived 2 months ago from Taiwan for a relaxing trip home, so it was now time to say "bye" to them and what way best to achieve this via a BBQ in Buxted - luvly! Oh and celebrate Sam's birthday too :)

We had a team-day at the Brighton Races - and it was coinciding with the official "Ladies Day" too...relaxing day, didn't spend too much and didn't lose that much either.

Well, when a neighbour drops on your door and says please can you look after these, whilst in the process of handing the cages over, that really doesn't leave one must choice but to accept the challenge. Oh yes - all 9 of them!!!!

That's exactly what happened to my mother - 3 weeks of hassle - but they were cute all the same :)

Business trip to Armenia, meant we could try to savour some interesting parts of the city...and luvly it was!

I wanted to spend a trip away to Turkey (I needed any excuse to get out of the office for a week!), and found this place on lastminute.com. Didn't know what to expect, but my aspirations was for a relaxing week away in the sunshine.

The place was a 5* (really 4* in the UK standards), All-Inclusive resort, and I must say the best bit about it was a very nice member of the Animation Team - she had a fine figure indeed :) Anyway, marvel at a selection of the photos!

The completion of the house-refurb which lasted almost 7 weeks was a long-thought out, but rewarding experience! The end result is very positive, even if I say so myself :)

The completion of a new house can only mean one thing - a housewarming. I invited some close friends from school (yongs ago), college (a decade ago!), university (7 years ago), and AmEx (last 6-7 years)...am amazing bunch of people, and a privilege in sharing this big occassion :) A few photos of the moment...nothing major though, as kept forgetting this "photo-taking" task - whoops!

Mr Alex Kent held a BBQ Birthday Bash at St Anne's Wells Garden on the border of Brighton and Hove on 4th May 2009...just a pity that the weather became a bit unpredicatable throughout the day. It just held out, and it was a relaxing affair...a great way to spend the May-Day Bank Holiday Monday!

The "house-work" is progressing well...in scope, schedule and sizing - just like all of my other projects! Ha! First floor has been fully decorated now, ground floor is just utter chaos...sorry I mean "organised" chaos! Will sort itself over the next couple of weeks, I hope!

Well another week...another pub session in Lewes...and you can't go to a pub without drinks, food and in my case pool! Ha...though the latter is certainly becoming a challenge in more and more places! I think we ended up scoring as follows: Peter 3 wins, Chris 2 wins and Aaron 2! Not bad!

My Greek Lady-Friend's 30th Birthday was on 25th March, so I decided to take a few days off work and make a long-weekend of it all!

Fantastic, fabulous, fun, chilled and relaxed - and this was just the birthday bash! And the darling of the night looked amazing - as always!!

Friday, 13th March was Red Nose Day, a charity day with coined by the BBC to support various Comedy Events to mark the plight of children suffering in Africa and the UK! A very worthwhile cause!

In the office, Red was certainly the colour of the day, with fun and games and crazy costumes worn throughout! Any excuse for a bi of madness in the office! Ha!

We managed to get a few of the Ex-Coggies (Sussex University) folks together for several drinks and food! Great gathering, great company, great drinks and great sunshine! What more can one ask for?

I am about to start an exciting new initiative, codenamed: "project new house" - which will start once I'm completed my house purchase on Thursday, 19th March. Can't wait to start the quest! Plenty of fun and games ahead of me!!

We performed another food and drinks outing in Lewes, visiting Pelham House for food, drinks and pool and the Black Horse Inn for more drinks and bar billiards - something different, hey?

A cold front swept across from the Siberian East, resulting in a fair chunk of the UK suffering severe snow showers. Where I lived, we had about 3-4 inches worth, but it certainly was great whilst it lasted - all but a day worth of fun, that is!

I attended an gig at a pub in Copthorne, near Crawley - where one of college friends was playing and singing! Great music, and a great night!
