The GNS Brighton teams always know how to party - so what way to celebrate the festive season than bringing a large group of people together, glamourishly dressed to toast the season...and everyone having a ball of a time! 'Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la, la la la la.....

Snow was predicted - but boy did it come down. It started early on Tuesday, 30th Nov with about 10cm settling on the ground. During the following 48hrs another 20cm fell - making it just over a foot of snow. Yep this meant I was well and truly snowed in! Nice!

Dave is going US-bound for at least the next year, so what better way to celebrate than going to the "local" in Croydon (The Spread Eagle public house) and have some grub and fun!

Get a few great mates together, an American Diner setting, some milkshakers, a burger and some American Pool - and what do you get...a wicked night! Great fun folks!

A few nutters (ergh friends) decided to do the British Heath Foundation 50-Mile bike road around Brighton and Sussex (well they were sensible to choose the 50-mile, cos some real mad nutters choose the 100-mile course - ouch!). I chose the "join you at the end" strategy :)

A private tour to the Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels topped off by a lovely meal at Prism Restaurant at the top of Harvey Nichols in Leadenhall Street in the City of London. Amazing ambience, amazing food, and appreciated treat!

The last Bank holiday before Christmas 2010 can only mean one thing...a BBQ with some great company, and plenty of food and drinks galore - that also enjoys fun in the name of Jenga, Uno, Singstar and just basking in the August sunshine(!)...

We had a Work-Life (or it has recently been termed as Life-Work) balance afternoon fun! A picnic in the park with some fun and games to support. Remember work-life balance is meant to represent a broad concept including proper prioritisation between "work" (career and ambition) on one hand and "life" (pleasure, leisure and family) on the other...!

A session on a skool nite, at the Spread Eagle public house in luvly East Croydon...thanks for the complimentary Guinness glasses...all washed and in my kitchen glass cabinet now :)

Didn't realise Victoria can be so much fun... well find a pub that serves Guinness...mix with a couple of fab friends, and that's all we need! The scenery was quite nice too :)

A few college lads, add some Guinness and Stella flows and the SingStar and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 shoot 'em up games...and what to you get...some mischief fun!

A mid-year team meeting can only be followed by...no not Guinness (well not straightaway!), but a luvly team build. The team decided to do a Community Team Build at a National Trust site just outside of Brighton on the South Downs. Luvly weather (just!), luvly packed lunch on the Downs, great fence repairs and bush-clearing...and then off to a nice meal in Royal Oak in Poynings. Nicely done team...oh and there was Guinness in the Evening! Well it's hard grafting this outdoor activity malarkey!

Another year, another BBQ...and luvly weather (phew!). Great food, great company.

Well what a nice way to send off a colleague then having a nice lunch at an Indian Restaurant for Friday lunch! Nagesh was finishing his stint in the UK, and was returning to India over the weekend, so a nice last lunch meal in the UK!

One of the GNS business team's held a Team Build, and invited a number of support groups to also join them and ergh..."bet"...(celebrate) the joys of relationship and partnership. So here goes...after a few drinks (well we did meet up at the pub at Ascot), we had a nice few hours at the Ascot Racecourse! Coincidently, there was a few horse races too during the afternoon!

Well working for Amex, is not all work-work-work...it involves a bit of fun and enjoyment too. It's the simplest of games that seems to entertain the majority, so although the GNS work-life outside fun day (afternoon) was called off due to the unpredictable weather (it's not like it's mid-July or anything! Classic English summer weather), the Telecom House fun-evening remained, and it was sunny, rained and sunny again - but we persevered - with a BBQ, soft-ball and some healthy living exercises! Great hey? :)

A spontaneous extended invitation, and a marvellous evening drive and session at a mysteriously located Brewery. Dark Star had some very nice Ales and Bitters - yummy indeedy --> http://www.darkstarbrewing.co.uk - give it a go, you will be pleasantly surprised :)

A session in Cairo meant one thing...well that includes fun and games in-between the work aspects...well it's Aaron and fun is my middle name :) Well kinda!

One of my great friends from Uni tied the knot on the Summer Solstice 2010, and it was a magical event, with a great venue, a great crowd, fantastic atmosphere, marvellous summer weather (thank you England!), and an amazing Hog-Roast (yummy piggy!) - which Al did mention was called "Babe" - gosh, I hope this was a joke! Haha! Delicious all the same :)

I visited an ex-Amex IT Graduate mate of mine who is now based in Basingstoke. Thinking back, it is incredible to think that was back in 2003-2005! Crickies - where has the time gone? :) Anyway, thoroughly relaxing couple of days, and a nice session was guaranteed! Oh and the Guinness flowed - ha!
