Biometrics Provided

Well you can’t say that the Singaporian Immigration aren’t sophisticated – they are like some of the other Asian countries where to obtain an Working Permit / Identity Card, one would have to provide thumb-prints (wonder what would happen if you don’t have a thumb!), photography and hair sample (okay I’m lying on the last one!).

And then one is truly in the system…methinks it is really so that they can track you on CCTV when you go about your business 🙂  Haha!

Nah, I think it is a smooth and efficient process – even to the level of how you go about the appointment for the Biometrics provisions.  Simple steps, but worked like a treat – and in about 10 minutes you are done.  It actually took longer to transit between my office and the Ministry of Manpower site in Riverwalk (Clarke Quay) and back home.  I just love how everything seems to “work” here in Singapore and Asia.  All computerised, all effective and as I said, it’s “works”!!
