EZ-Link Card for SMRT
Well I’m slowly getting “climatised” to the Singapore way of life. Number one of my priority list is to purchase the EZ-Link card – for use on the MRT and Bus network in the City.
It cost me SGD $5 for the physical (contactless) card with a pre-load value requirement of SGD $7 – i.e. $12 cost minimum for the card and load value. I added another SGD $40 on top – no clue how long it would last, or what the cost of each leg it at this moment, but it is the quickest and most convenient way of getting around 🙂 I will keep ya posted on the SMRT costs in any case, but if the Hong Kong MRT was anything to go by, it would be quite cheap – probably less than a SGD $1.00 a leg of the route or around this amount.
