Well it is great seeing a hidden gem in-between the tour sky-scrapers of Singapore Central Business District (CBD). Lau Pa Sat still remains after all of the years of development in and around the CBD area of Singapore City, and luckily it has, because it remains an awe-inspiring place.
I initially wanted to take my mum to visit the Asian Kitchen – to have Chilli Crab Noodles – I had a feeling that the place was closed on Sunday’s, but we went to Republic Plaza (near the Raffles Place MRT) to have a look, to only note that it was indeed closed.
It wasn’t that bad, as it just means we need to come back soon to give it a try, but we decided to visit Lau Pa Sat for Sunday lunch instead. Nice choice indeed. It’s like any ol’ hawker stall, but this place has amazing character even during the day-time…very relaxing indeed. My mum wants to visit again one evening, hard to say no – ha!
