3 weeks down, 5 months and 1 week to go!

Wow – talk about the speed of light!  This work experience has simply been amazing so far.  I’ve now been in Singapore for 3 whole weeks (24 days to be precise), and it simply has flown by.

I’ve (mostly) culturally adapted, I’ve got into a routine, found my way around the City, enjoyed the bits that I wanted to see so far, and still have a few things I need to do and see, including the watch a F1GP itself, watch a cricket match (at the Singapore Cricket Club) one Saturday or Sunday, visit the Japanese Garden, possibly re-visit the Chinese Garden to visit the Live Turtle and Tortoise museum, go on the Singapore Flyer (possibly during the F1GP weekend), go to the top of the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark to see the amazing view from the top and the amazing Infinity Swimming Pool, go back to China Town to absorb the atmosphere during the evening and at night, then there is the Zoo, Night Safari and Bird Park.  And for the adventurous side of me a- try the Champagne Dim Sum breakfast at the St Regis and go to the Ritz-Carlton to view their amazing art collection (well it’s number 2 of 10 things to do according to Times Magazine!) – might try a Tea Experience whilst I am there!  🙂  So as you can see plenty of things still to do!

And that doesn’t include the Countries that I should try to visit – list includes: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Taiwan and India – and these are just the ones I really need to visit.  Wow!

Have a look at this video of the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Infinity Swimming Pool…
