Dusk at Marina Bay

On Monday evening, I decided to work late and hang around the Marina Bay area – as I wanted to walk up the Bay towards the main F1 Grand Stand area and Pit-Straight.

After taking a few photos of the permanent part of the F1 circuit, I decided to stay and take some of the amazing night photos of the new Business Hub of Singapore City, and I wasn’t disappointed.

This area, termed as the new Business District certainly has an amazing landscape at night, and with all of the Neon lights and office skyscrapers, the backdrop actually looks quite nice.

So here’s a top selection of the photos taken at Marina Bay, focused on the Marina Bay Financial Centre, the Marina Bay Sands complex, the Art Science Museum, Dali’s “Dance of Time II”, Esplanade, The Fullerton, the Singapore Flyer, and the “Wonder Full” Multimedia light, water and sound show.   One word – amazing!!

I also took this opportunity to play around with the settings on the camera, I really needed to use a tri-pod with the slow shutter speeds, and narrow aperture.  I think they came out okay, but I still need practice; practice makes perfect, as they say!
