Well back in the UK, a few of my work colleagues would try to go to a pub down to the road from the office to have a Thai lunch and a drink (of course, this means a pint of Guinness for me!).
This was a classic Friday lunch socialising event… to chat, catch-up with people and just chill!
But today, in a different Country and in a different culture, I continued the trend. A Thai lunch in Customs House, near to the office. It was actually really nice – a bit pricey, as with a lime juice, mineral water and a Thai stir-fry, it worked out to be SGD$74 for the two of us – ouch!
Good quality, but at a price! I must hold back spending this level of food though, as it is eating away at my allowance 🙂 Ha!
