We finished one of the sessions around 2pm, and decided to go back to the restaurant. As we had worked over lunch, we decided to grab a quick bite in the hotel’s restaurant – the same place that serves the buffet breakfast.
Even though we booked the taxi for 2pm, the taxi did not arrive promptly, and after a few chasers to the Hotel’s Concierge desk, it took over 45 minutes for the taxi to finally arrive. So lunch at 2.30pm, ended up being after 3.20pm – grrr!! The concierge at this hotel is simply rubbish! I sense that they forgot the original booking and requested a taxi when we phonde at 2.20pm!
Anyway, by the time we arrived back, we were very hungry, so we went straight to the restaurant, the Mill. I decided to go with the Beef Satay to start with, followed by Ko Pung Chicken for my main course. I know it was going to be a bad idea, but I decided to go with a dessert too, a little Berry Crumble with Ice Cream – very refreshing! Accompanied with Iced-Lime Tea – wow, I needed that drink!
