Thursday Drinkies – Relaxing Times

Getting to be like back home in the UK, where I go out on a school night – naughty me :) On Thursday, I decided to go out for a quick drink with a work colleague, noting that there was a possibility that I was going to be visiting South Malaysia over the weekend (still not confirmed, but I thought I’d should keep the weekend free, just in case :) ).

From Marina Bay Financial Centre, we headed down to Raffles Place, and popped up at Boat Quay, we then stopped by at Harry’s for a quick drink.

Oh dear, it's empty (again!)

We got a bit peckish so my mate asked me whether I had tried the Thai Express @ City Hall, I hadn’t so we decided to go there for some food. We walked down to City Hall and enjoyed the stroll and chat, and we made it there and joined the queue.  I noticed that there were posting for ‘career opportunities’, if I really want to stay, there seems to be a possibility here :) Haha!

After the about 10 minutes we got our table.  It was a busy place even at 9pm.  We ordered, and the food arrive very promptly.  I went for a Chicken and Black Bean Stir-Fry, and although it didn’t look appealing, it was remarkably tasty.

After the meal, we then finished up and headed to the City Hall MRT and headed home for the night (well it is a work-day tomorrow) – ha!  Very nice and relaxing and something different :)
