I had such a craving for a pizza, so I wanted to try something different one evening in November, and decided to go for a the Canadian Pizza BOGOF offer.
I previously tried Pizza Hut and was quite disappointed (that’s easy I guess with the quality of Pizza Hut), but choices are quite limited when it comes to a nice Italian Pizza, so I was hoping that Canadian Pizza was going to be equivalent to Dominos or Famous Moes. That will probably sound quite strange, nice Pizza and referencing Dominos and Famous Moes, but at least you know the quality when referencing to these places. Haha!
I decided to go with the following two pizzas:
- Classic Italian - Italian Sausage, Beef Pepperoni, Beef Salami, Capsicum and Black Olives; and
- Mexican Fiesta – Spiced Lean Ground Beef, Onions, Red Chilli, Capsicum and Jalapeno Pepper.
I was recommended the Mexican Fiesta by a work colleague, and they both sounded pretty tasty, so I was hopeful that they will turn out good. The price for the above pizzas were S$23.90 for the 10″ regular sized ones - so about S$12 for each one.
For delivery, you have to order over S$25, so I ordered a bottle of Pepsi too. The grand total was S$26.40 – so about £13.20. Not cheap and they weren’t that large either, but I think it was good to eat something different for a change!
Anyway, I forgot to take the photos of the “before” look for both pizza, so I ate about half of each and then put them in the same box, and took the photo of the leftovers. I decided to save the rest for the following day – two meals for the price of one – ha!)
