Well the first morning involved wandering around HCMC and visiting the tourist sights within District 1. I decided to walk everywhere as I found previously this is the best way to see the hustle and bustle of places like this – and being a real part of the City life!

- Walking Food Stall
- Little Cute Dog 🙂
- Nice Roundable Feature … and the surprisingly roads quiet in this area 🙂

I noticed that there were a lot of nice art galleries in the city, in fact some of the artwork looked toooooo nice … I was almost tempted to buy a few pieces for my house – but stop shopped! Well the real reason is that I only had a back-pack, so wasn’t sure how to bring the items back to Singapore 🙂 I walked onto visit the Opera House – which was a nice place indeed, where they were showing the Nutcracker opera…opposite the Opera House was a flag-ship LV store…
- Arts Shops Galore – Nice Pieces of Art!
- Ho Chi Minh City Opera House (Showing the Nutcracker)
- Nice Fountain Display at the end of this path
- There’s always a LV flagship store in a Large City!
- Nice Green and Fountain (I think this said “keep off the grass”!)
When I reached the Notre Dame Cathedral – I noticed that there were quite a few Weddings happening around this area – well the photo-shoots to support the wedding 🙂 Located just opposite the Cathedral was the impressive Central Post Office – I can see the French characteristics in the building design.
