Well I am an avid F1 fan, but never had the opportunity to visit a F1 in the flesh – until now (well I still need to get a ticket first!! The question is more about which location to be based at, rather than if I should buy one – ha!).
Anyway, I thought that I would visit the only permanent area of the circuit that exists, you will recall that it is similar to Monaco F1 GP in respect that the Singapore one is also a Street Circuit. But what makes Singapore F1 different is that it is the only night circuit on the current F1 calendar, and although an infant, compared with the British, German and Canadian GP, Singapore has the sights and spills of the dark street circuit of what is a City that will come to life during the last weekend of September.
It sure will be an experience, even it is just to experience the noise 🙂 And what does the circuit look like – well here it is the map so show you the location of the circuit along the streets of the southern main part of Singapore City.
Here’s a selection of the dusk photos of the circuit, as you head towards the Grand Stand area, and the Pit-Lane/Pit-Straight (start/finish line).

Separately, you will already notice that it is only July and the Singaporian’s Engineer’s have already set-up the lightening rig around the circuit course – amazing Asian efficiency, hey!
