As I mentioned in my last post, we passed the Temple at Broga on the way to the Fish Farm Restaurant. On the way back, we made a stop to visit the Chinese Temple, and I wasn’t disappointed by the atmosphere in and around the Temple grounds.
I do like visiting these types of temples, the inquisitive architecture, the vibrant colours and design – it’s simply brilliant!
The views from the top is very beautiful and many people visit’s this place for it’s
beautiful sunset. We decided to just relax for a stroll in the midday sunshine – although it was quite cloudy, which is not necessarily a bad thing, as made it feel cooler in the air. It seems that many folks come here with their families, as they put some animal statues to one side of the Temple grounds.
They is also a suspension bridge from the temple to the hill next to it, which is where the huge “Sun Wu Kong” (孫悟空 ) or “Monkey God” is standing overlooking across country side. Looks quite funny!
You could see the Durian and and Rubber-Plant trees from the top too…and smell them (Ha! – okay I’m lying about that last bit!).
