Chilli-Crab and Noodles – Singapore’s Best Dish!

Well even before I came out to Singapore, a colleague on mine recommended that I MUST try the Chilli Crab Noodles.  After being introduced to a few people in the office during my second week, I was quickly taken for lunch a couple of weeks ago to give it a try.  But, I forgot to take my iPhone or Camera with me last time, so didn’t manage to take any photographs.

It was at the Asian Kitchen, and it was a delicious choice – they have different branch varieties, some focus on Chicken, this particular one is the Fish menu.   Last time, we shared a couple of dishes and ordered some Dim Sum, as they were worried that I would like it.  This time I decided to order the whole noodles dish for myself 🙂

Anyway, we did a similar thing again for lunch for Friday last week, and this time I took my iPhone with me.   We went back to Asian Kitchen at Raffles Place Republic Plaza – with a few of my work colleagues, and the Chill-Crab Noodles was simply yummy!  Accompanied by some Pork Dumpling Dim Sum, made it a great and relaxing lunch meal!

The recommendation is to come around 11.30am, becaues any later the queues are ridiculously long!  At both occasions we were early, but about 10-15 minutes later, you literally saw the queue snake round the outside.  Crazy!

The biggest challenge was to ensure that I was able to keep going for the rest of the afternoon, having had such an fab meal.  That’s tough when it’s Friday afternoon!  Ha!!
